The PlayStation Vita is Sony's second hand held gaming console. In appearance, the PS Vita looks very much like its predecessor, the PSP.

However, there the similarities end.

The PS Vita has motion sensor technology, which allows you to engage perfectly with the game, and the device responds to touch, tiltingand steering motions. It gives you endless ways to interact with the characters in the games and manpulate the ambient environment.

The cross platform technology allows you to start playing a game on your PS3, pause the game, then take it over on the PS Vita, exactly where you paused the game on the PS3. You can also join in multiplayer games on the PS3 and the PS Vita.
